Finding Our Roots Conference Booklet

The Finding Our Roots conference booklet was created so that everyone who attended this multi-day event left with something more than a written document. Using photography, design and the key messages that came from this event we worked to create something that could be treasured as a keepsake of this very special experience. Youth and Elders from the We Wai Kai Nation, Wei Wai Kum Nation – Thunderbird Hall, Kwiakah First Nation, Mamalilikulla-Qwe’Qwa’Sot’Em Band, K’omoks First Nation and Da’naxda’xw Nation gathered at the Kwanwatsi Big House to lead and educate through cultural teachings and activities.
