BC Hydro’s John Hart Generating Station in Campbell River is currently undergoing millions of dollars in upgrades to replace the 50 year old system. Tremain Media has been making educational update videos twice a year to highlight the progress being made on this multi-million dollar project, and will continue to do so for the full 5 years it will take the project to be completed.
All videos are included on the interactive touchscreen both in the Museum of Campbell River and in the John Hart Interpretive Centre for public viewing purposes.
Each video utilizes several footage styles, including above ground and below ground footage captured with 1 to 2 videographer-manned cameras, and drone cameras. They incorporate narration, interviews, and motion graphics to provide a full viewpoint project update. This style of educational update video is a great way to provide updates and highlights for a long and complicated construction project.
