Bralorne-Takla Mercury Mine: Remediation and Reclamation
It was our honor to film a documentary for Takla Lake First Nation, the Ministry of Forests and SNC Lavalin. We told the story of the Bralorne – Takla Mercury Mine and how remediation is ensuring the protection of the environment and human health for generations to come. We captured timelapse of the remediation over two summers and then created this documentary film.
Thank you to all the individuals who told their stories. Thank you to incredibly talented Paige and Conan French and all of the Charlie French family for their help & sharing parts of their lives. Thank you to Chief John Allen French, and to all at Takla Lake First Nation for welcoming us onto your territory. Working 6 hours north of Prince George was a gorgeous and special place to be. We love working throughout British Columbia.
